What is BIMI? Showing your logo in Gmail and Yahoo

BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) lets supporting inboxes show your logo next to your messages.

Requirements

DMARC at enforcement: p=quarantine or p=reject. Quarantine is not allowed with a reduced pct.
Your logo as an SVG in the "SVG Tiny Portable/Secure" profile, hosted over HTTPS.
For Gmail and Apple Mail: a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC), which needs a registered trademark, or for Gmail a Common Mark Certificate (CMC).
A TXT record at default._bimi.yourdomain.com: v=BIMI1; l=https://…/logo.svg; a=https://…/cert.pem

Because BIMI requires enforcement, it's a natural reward at the end of a DMARC project.
